Donate Dreams Book Drive
Your book donation helps put dreams and literacy into the hands of children and provides life skills and work experience for young adult students with disabilities. In particular, we need children’s board and picture books, however, all children’s book donations are appreciated and can be used.
Thank you for helping us build a stronger, healthier community!

Who We Are
The Donate Dream Books program provides free books to children from birth to elementary age through local support agencies.
When you place new and gently used books into the Donate Dreams, Give Books collection box, you are also placing them into the hands of children who need them and helping students with special needs gain real-world work/life skills.
Facilitated by Ottawa Area ISD, Donate Dreams, Give Books helps Young Adult Services students between the ages of 18-26 with disabilities learn life skills as they process, categorize, keep inventory, and prepare books for distribution. Books are then distributed to agencies identified by Help Me Grow-Ottawa, a service that connects families with children ages prenatal through five years old to local resources to help families thrive.
